WHO WE ARE

Duke Conversations is a student-led, OUE-funded initiative dedicated to fostering meaningful dialogue across Duke — bringing together students, faculty, and administrators to exchange ideas and learn from one another over dinner. At a time when conversations can feel rushed, inauthentic, or even polarized, we create intentional spaces for curiosity, listening, and genuine connection between professors, alumni, other Duke figures and students together. Our mission is to foster dialogue between students and faculty ​and to build community among students who might not otherwise get to know each other. Because we value interdisciplinary conversation, we encourage students of all majors and years to apply for a dinner that interests them.
